We remember former Senior Mistress at New Hall School, Miss Ruth Raven.

We are sad to learn of the death of Miss Raven, just before her 90th birthday. Miss Raven joined the staff of New Hall in 1955, teaching gymnastics, lacrosse and tennis in a sports department of one! She was appointed Senior Mistress in the early 1980s, before her retirement the following decade to her home in Aldham, near Colchester. May she rest in peace
