On Monday, week one of the girls' cricket academy took place for the very first time at New Hall under the guidance of Mr Davidge (Head of Cricket) and led by our newly appointed girls' cricket coach Miss Dalton. Miss Dalton plays county cricket for Essex and has also represented Ireland. She is also training regularly at Lords in preparation for 'The Hundred' which commences in July 2020. The girls focussed on goal setting and were given batting, bowling and field challenges to complete alongside video analysis of their bowling technique. The girls are very much looking forward to the county round of The Lady Taverners indoors competition which we are hosting on Tuesday 28th January.
